Circle Park Bridal

Two years ago, Andrea Porter sat in Circle Park Bridal, her newly-opened bridal boutique in Dallas, and thought of ways to drum up interest for her boutique.  Originally from the Northeast, she had only recently relocated to Dallas for what she now calls a “quality of life change”.  Although she has been involved in both the retail and hospitality industries, the Dallas market was still something of an unknown territory to her.  She needed a plan.

“Is it chic to look rich?”

I’ve been meaning to post this video of the Duke and Duchess of Windsor for a while now. Now that Harper’s Bazaar has an online article on the the style of the Duchess, I thought I’d post her now, looking chic in custard and pearls. Madonna (whose interest in Wallis may have been piqued after Madge’s role as another independent lady on the world stage, Evita Peron, in Evita) is making a major motion about the Duchess of Windsor. I hope their treatment of the Duchess is accurate, because apparently her personality and opinions were quite different from what is popularly assumed.
